Spilling the Pilateas - Edition 3: Your Pre-Ride Prep Rituals

Hey there, fellow riders!

Just a little hello from sunny Florida—where the weather’s been gorgeous and I’ve been having a blast settling in with Belles and the whole equestrian community here. It’s been an adventure, and I can’t wait to share a couple of my go-to pre-ride Pilates moves that have been making a real difference for me and my riders.

The Wall Roll-Down: You’ll love this one. It’s all about lengthening your spine and easing out any stiffness. I’ll walk you through it in the video so you can feel tall and aligned before you even pick up the reins.

The 2x4 Exercise: Don’t let the name fool you—it’s a simple balance trick that really helps wake up those stabilizer muscles. Plus, it’s kind of fun! Check Out the 2x4 Exercise Video

Give Them a Go!

I’d love for you to try these out and let me know how they make you feel once you’re in the saddle. Just click the links to watch the demos, and as always, I’m here if you have any questions. Here’s to a more balanced and confident ride!
